Terms of Use for evPDF: 16-in-1 PDF Tools

Effective date: July 20, 2026 Last updated: July 20, 2026 1.⁠ AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS These Terms of Use govern your use of the evPDF mobile application for iOS and Android. evPDF is provided by: Evgenii Evsiukov Spain Email: [support@evsi.store](mailto:support@evsi.store) By downloading, installing, purchasing or using evPDF, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the application. These Terms apply in addition to any mandatory terms imposed by Apple App Store, Google Play or applicable law. 2.⁠ DESCRIPTION OF evPDF evPDF is a document utility that provides tools for working with PDF and related document formats. Features may include: • PDF reading • Document scanning • PDF creation • Page organization • PDF merging and splitting • PDF compression • PDF rotation • Image to PDF conversion • PDF to image conversion • Text to PDF creation • Visual annotations placed over PDF pages • On-device OCR • DOCX to PDF conversion • XLSX or XLS to PDF conversion • Electronic signature placement • Watermarks • Password protection • Local file management Features may differ depending on your device, operating system, application version, subscription status and technical limitations. 3.⁠ ELIGIBILITY You may use evPDF only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the law that applies to you. If you are under the age required to enter into a binding agreement, you may use evPDF only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You may not use evPDF where its use is prohibited by applicable law. 4.⁠ LICENSE TO USE THE APPLICATION Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to install and use evPDF on devices that you own or control. The application is licensed, not sold. You may use evPDF only for lawful personal or business purposes and in accordance with applicable store usage rules. No ownership rights in the application are transferred to you. 5.⁠ YOUR DOCUMENTS AND CONTENT You retain all rights that you have in documents, images, text, signatures and other content that you process using evPDF. We do not claim ownership of your documents. You are responsible for ensuring that: • You own the content or have permission to use it • Your use does not violate copyright, privacy, confidentiality or other rights • The content is lawful • You have permission to sign, modify, scan, copy, convert or distribute the document • Any signature you apply is authorized and legally appropriate • You comply with professional, regulatory and record-keeping requirements that apply to you evPDF processes documents locally and does not review or approve their contents. 6.⁠ LOCAL STORAGE AND BACKUPS Files saved in the evPDF library are stored locally in the application storage on your device. You are responsible for: • Maintaining backups of important documents • Exporting irreplaceable files before uninstalling the application • Protecting your device with an appropriate password or biometric lock • Securing exported files and device backups • Confirming that documents were saved correctly before deleting originals Deleting evPDF may permanently remove locally stored files. Application updates normally preserve the application storage, but we do not guarantee that files will never be lost because of device failure, operating system errors, storage corruption, user action or circumstances outside our control. evPDF is not a cloud storage service, archival service or guaranteed backup system. 7.⁠ DOCUMENT PROCESSING LIMITATIONS Document processing may depend on document complexity, available device memory, operating system behavior and third-party document specifications. You acknowledge that: • OCR results may contain recognition errors • Scanning may produce incorrect cropping, perspective or image quality • Compression may reduce image or document quality • DOCX conversion may not reproduce every Word layout feature • XLSX or XLS conversion may not reproduce every Excel feature • Charts, macros, drawings, formulas, fonts and proprietary layouts may render differently • Large or complex documents may fail or require substantial processing time • Password-protected documents may not open without the correct password • Passwords created through evPDF cannot necessarily be recovered if forgotten • Printing and sharing depend on system services and external applications • Output should be reviewed before professional, legal, medical, financial or official use The annotation feature places new text, images and shapes over the original PDF page. It does not directly rewrite the original text operators or fully remove underlying document content. Covering text visually does not guarantee that the original text cannot be searched, extracted, copied or recovered. You must not rely on visual covering or annotation as a secure redaction method. 8.⁠ ACCEPTABLE USE You agree not to: • Use evPDF for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purposes • Process or distribute content that infringes intellectual property rights • Violate privacy, confidentiality or data protection rights • Forge signatures or documents • Misrepresent altered documents as authentic originals • Create or distribute malware or harmful content • Attempt to bypass subscription requirements or daily limits • Manipulate purchase receipts or subscription status • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the application except where applicable law expressly permits it • Copy, modify, redistribute, sell, rent or sublicense the application • Interfere with application security or third-party services • Use automated methods to overload or misuse the application or related services • Use the application in a way that violates Apple, Google or other platform rules We may restrict access to features where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, security risks or violations of these Terms. 9.⁠ FREE ACCESS AND DAILY LIMITS Certain evPDF features may be available without payment. Free features may be subject to: • Daily operation limits • Tool-specific daily limits • Device or platform restrictions • File size or page limits • Other reasonable technical limitations The current limits are displayed in the application and may change in future versions. Successfully completed operations may count toward applicable daily limits. We may adjust free limits to maintain the application, prevent abuse, improve performance or change the commercial offering. Changes will not remove Premium access already purchased for an active billing period. 10.⁠ evPDF PREMIUM evPDF Premium may remove daily limits or provide access to additional functionality described in the application. The exact features included in Premium are displayed before purchase. Premium does not guarantee: • Unlimited device storage • Successful processing of every file • Perfect OCR accuracy • Exact reproduction of all Word or Excel formatting • Availability of features that are technically unsupported by a device • Permanent access after a subscription expires or is refunded 11.⁠ SUBSCRIPTIONS Premium may be offered through automatically renewing monthly or annual subscriptions. Before purchase, the store purchase screen displays: • Subscription price • Billing period • Applicable currency • Trial information, where available • Renewal terms Payment is charged by Apple App Store or Google Play to the store account selected by you. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through the relevant store before the next renewal is processed. Deleting evPDF does not cancel a subscription. After cancellation, Premium access normally remains available until the end of the paid billing period, unless a refund, chargeback or store decision ends access earlier. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Any free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends, as shown in the store purchase interface. Trial availability may depend on your store account, country, platform and previous purchases. 12.⁠ PRICES, TAXES AND REFUNDS Subscription prices may vary by: • Country • Currency • Platform • Taxes • Store pricing rules • Promotions • Subscription plan The price shown by Apple App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase is the applicable price. Apple or Google processes payments and may process refunds according to its policies and applicable consumer law. We do not directly receive your full payment card details. A refund, chargeback or cancellation may cause Premium access to be revoked. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory refund, withdrawal or consumer rights available under applicable law. 13.⁠ RESTORING PURCHASES The application may provide a Restore Purchases function. Purchase restoration depends on: • The store account used for the original purchase • Apple or Google purchase records • RevenueCat subscription records • Network availability • Store and platform rules Restoring purchases does not transfer an Apple purchase to Google Play or a Google Play purchase to Apple unless the application explicitly supports cross-platform access. 14.⁠ PRIVACY Your use of evPDF is also governed by the evPDF Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains: • Which information is processed locally • Which limited technical and subscription information is collected • How information is used and shared • Data retention and deletion • Your data protection rights 15.⁠ INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY evPDF, including its software, interface, design, graphics, branding, documentation and original content, is owned by or licensed to Evgenii Evsiukov and is protected by intellectual property laws. The name evPDF, application icon, visual identity and related branding may not be used without permission except where allowed by law. Third-party software included in the application remains subject to its applicable open-source or commercial license. 16.⁠ THIRD-PARTY SERVICES evPDF may interact with: • Apple App Store • Google Play • RevenueCat • Firebase Analytics • Device file providers • Printing services • Sharing services • Email applications • Cloud storage providers selected by you We do not control third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for failures, interruptions, policy changes, data loss or other acts of third-party services, except where liability cannot legally be excluded. 17.⁠ UPDATES AND CHANGES TO THE APPLICATION We may release updates that: • Add or remove features • Fix errors • Change the interface • Improve security • Modify supported formats • Change free limits • Change device or operating system requirements • Maintain compatibility with Apple or Google policies Some updates may be required for continued use. We do not guarantee that every previous feature will remain available indefinitely. Where a change materially affects a paid service during an active billing period, applicable consumer law remains unaffected. 18.⁠ AVAILABILITY We aim to keep evPDF available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The application may be unavailable because of: • Maintenance • Software errors • Operating system changes • Store outages • Network failures • Device incompatibility • Security incidents • Third-party service failures • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control Local PDF reading and processing features may continue to work without internet access, but subscriptions, analytics, updates and external services may require a network connection. 19.⁠ DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, evPDF is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee that: • Every document will open or convert successfully • Output will exactly match the source file • OCR results will be error-free • Compression will preserve all visual quality • The application will meet every professional or regulatory requirement • Files will never be lost • Password protection will be suitable for every security purpose • The application will be uninterrupted or free from defects You must review processed documents and maintain independent backups. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law. 20.⁠ LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of evPDF, including: • Loss of documents • Loss of data • Loss of profits or business • Loss caused by incorrect OCR • Loss caused by conversion differences • Loss caused by forgotten passwords • Loss caused by unauthorized access to your device • Loss caused by reliance on an unreviewed output • Loss caused by third-party services Where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total liability relating to evPDF will be limited to the greater of: • The amount you paid for evPDF during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim • The minimum amount required by applicable law These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. 21.⁠ SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION You may stop using evPDF at any time. You may terminate these Terms by uninstalling the application and cancelling any active subscription through the relevant store. Uninstalling the application alone does not cancel a subscription. We may suspend access to paid or online-dependent features where reasonably necessary because of: • Fraudulent purchases • Chargebacks • Receipt manipulation • Security threats • Serious violations of these Terms • Legal requirements Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination. Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, disputes and other provisions intended to survive will continue to apply. 22.⁠ GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer, you also retain the protection of mandatory consumer laws in the country where you habitually reside. Before starting formal proceedings, you are encouraged to contact [support@evsi.store](mailto:support@evsi.store) so that we can attempt to resolve the issue. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts determined by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to bring proceedings in a court other than one available under mandatory consumer protection law. 23.⁠ APPLE APP STORE TERMS If you downloaded evPDF through Apple App Store, the following terms also apply. These Terms are between you and Evgenii Evsiukov, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for evPDF or its content. Evgenii Evsiukov, not Apple, is responsible for providing maintenance and support for evPDF to the extent required by applicable law. If evPDF fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple. Apple may refund the purchase price paid for the application, if any, subject to Apple policies and applicable law. Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding evPDF. Evgenii Evsiukov, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to: • Product liability • Failure to comply with legal or regulatory requirements • Consumer protection claims • Privacy claims • Intellectual property infringement claims You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using evPDF. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to an applicable United States government embargo and are not listed on an applicable restricted-party list, to the extent this representation is required by Apple. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the Apple-specific provisions against you. 24.⁠ GOOGLE PLAY TERMS If you downloaded evPDF through Google Play, your use is also subject to the applicable Google Play terms. Google is not responsible for evPDF, its content, maintenance or support. Purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds made through Google Play are subject to Google Play billing rules and applicable law. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and mandatory Google Play terms, the mandatory Google Play terms will apply to the extent of the conflict. 25.⁠ CHANGES TO THESE TERMS We may update these Terms to reflect: • Changes to evPDF • New features • Subscription changes • Legal requirements • Store requirements • Security or operational changes The latest version will display an updated effective date or last updated date. Material changes may be communicated through the application, store listing or related website. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms means that you accept the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent. 26.⁠ SEVERABILITY If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. The invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced to reflect its intended purpose as closely as permitted by law. 27.⁠ NO WAIVER Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce it later. 28.⁠ ENTIRE AGREEMENT These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any mandatory store purchase terms form the agreement governing your use of evPDF. 29.⁠ CONTACT For questions about evPDF or these Terms, contact: Evgenii Evsiukov Spain Email: [support@evsi.store](mailto:support@evsi.store)
